Abstract: Toxicity screenings of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were conducted via topical applications against adult female Aedes aegypti, Anopheles quadrimaculatus, and Culex quinquefasciatus mosquitoes. Nanoparticles were synthesized from silver nitrate (AgNO3) and characterized by UV-Vis spectrophotometry and transmission electron microscopy analysis. No significant difference in mortality (p > 0.05) was observed between treated and untreated mosquitoes. Additionally, there was no correlation between dose and mortality when assessing dosage up to 781.3 ng/mg across a 120h observation period.
