Abstract: AquaBac®represents an underutilized Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) option with demonstrated field performance across diverse application scenarios.
Backpack application trials comparing AquaBac against alternative Bti-based larvicides demonstrated consistent, superior performance across multiple distances and spray widths, indicating significant operational advantages for vector control programs. Additional case studies presented will include wide-area larviciding via buffalo turbine applications in both field trial and global real-world public health program use cases.
The findings from these suggest that vector control programs may be missing opportunities for enhanced efficacy by not fully utilizing AquaBac's proven performance advantages. Attendees will learn how AquaBac's consistently efficacious field performance across multiple application methods represents a significant yet underutilized opportunity to enhance the effectiveness and cost efficiency for their mosquito control operations.
