Sean Sweeney is a Doctoral Candidate and Graduate Student Researcher in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health. His research examines emerging and neglected vector borne pathogens of human and veterinary importance. Sweeney integrates epidemiologic field work, data analytics, and cutting-edge molecular diagnostics to monitor disease trends and outbreaks across North and South America.
