Dr. Vasiliki Ikonomidou, is a deep learning expert specializing in object detection and image classification, as well as quality assurance of machine learning models. Prior to joining Vectech, she served as Associate Professor of Bioengineering at George Mason University, where she conducted research on medical image analysis and video analytics for security applications, including U.S. Army-funded projects. Dr. Ikonomidou earned her doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
