Samer is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and a minor in Anthropology. He has also earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics, Geonomics and Bioinformatics from the University of California, Riverside. Samer decided to continue his education at Harvard Business School, where he studied Business Analytics, Economics and Financial Reporting. Professionally, Samer served as the Assistant Manager at the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District and now works for Central Life Sciences as a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast of the United States.
Samer is an active member of multiple mosquito control associations. He has served on the Regulatory Affairs committee of the Mosquito and Vector Control Association of California (MVCAC) since 2018 and chaired the committee for 2 of those years. In 2022 the MVCAC awarded him the Presidential Citation for Contributions to Mosquito and Vector Control. Samer is also involved in the American Mosquito Control Association by being a Master Trainer of Best Management Practices for Mosquito Control and has participated on several committees. Starting in 2025, Samer joined the Board of the Northwest Mosquito and Vector Control Association. Starting this year, Samer will serve as the Industry Director on the AMCA Board.
