Received a Bachelor's of Science from Old Dominion University in 2004. I began my career in mosquito control as a biology intern with the City of Chesapeake in 2003. After graduating in May 2004, I took a position with the City of Norfolk as an Environmental Health Assistant with the division of Vector Control. In 2005 I was hired as an Environmental Health Specialist with the Virginia Department of Health and continued my role in Vector Control for the City of Norfolk. In 2024, I assumed the role of Environmental Health Supervisor for the Vector Control program for the City of Norfolk.
