Cindy Mulla has dedicated her career of twenty plus years to Beach Mosquito Control District (BMCD) located in the panhandle of Northwest Florida. After a couple of years trapping/identifying millions upon millions of mosquitoes, her instinctive trapping skills led her to lure and trap all age groups species of attention spans through her development of BMCD's first educational outreach program. Her goal is to passionately teach about the importance of mosquito control and reinforce its’ positive public health mission including personal protection. She continues to create new educational programs with science labs. In addition, she enjoys, designing ads, writing artucles infomercials, a jingles, creating marketing slogans for cool “Skeeter Swag” . As an active Florida Mosquito Control Association and American Mosquito Control Association member, she actively gives supports through networking, being a presenter, participating in dedicated events (Education Day and The Young Professional events) she truly, wants to make a positive impact and difference. Last year's 2025 AMCA annual meeting was an extra special treat for Cindy because being bilingual, it gave her the opportunity to devotedly educate students in Puerto Rico about mosquito control, mosquito biology and personal protection. This led to the next AMCA grand opportunity to visit Nation's Capital for the first time, during The AMCA Washington Days event. These unique opportunities came to fruition due to the dedicated support Beach Mosquito Control District's Board of Commissioners, and both past and present directors who trusted her to represent the district and mosquito control proudly since 2005. Cindy has been the local area's mosquito control megaphone known as the Panama City Beach's Mosquito Lady and continues to establish and nurture community relationships for BMCD and mosquito control.
Enjoys the outdoors! Sunrise/Sunset beach walks, kayaking, hiking, history and music. Other than Mother Nature's buzzing mosquito melody of tunes!
