Northeast Regional Sales Manager
Central Life Sciences, New Jersey, United States
Jennifer 'Jenna' Mora has been involved in the mosquito control community since 2017; she found herself working at her local county agency and then fell in love with the field. In 2020, she graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in entomology. Throughout her time in undergraduate, she took many medical and veterinary entomology courses to keep up with the ever-advancing field. Upon graduating from Rutgers, she worked as a lab technician and then went to work at the Hartz Mountain Corporation as an R&D entomologist. In 2022 she decided to pursue her graduate degree in entomology and is currently a graduate student in Dr. Alvaro Toledo’s lab at Rutgers University, with her thesis focusing on artificial tick feeding. In February of 2025 she joined Central Life Sciences where she spends her time working with mosquito control districts throughout the northeast to protect public health.
Outside of career and academic pursuits, Jenna believes very strongly in working with professional societies and organizations to further their missions. She has been involved with the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association (NJMCA) since 2017 and holds several committee chair positions including Public Relations, Website, and Newsletter. In 2024, the NJMCA presented her with the Presidential Citation for her work to the association. Her work and passion to the field led her to become involved in the Entomological Society of America (ESA) and the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA). In ESA she is the Eastern Branch representative for the Education and Outreach committee and is the MUVE Communications committee chair. In AMCA she previously served on the Young Professionals committee and keeps in touch with many YPs. Jenna strives to stay abreast of the new literature, challenges to our profession, and to be an active voice in professional societies.
