Storm Mclean is an undergraduate student at Oregon State University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology. She currently works with the Mosquito Research and Control Unit in the Cayman Islands, where she contributes to mosquito surveillance and vector control efforts aimed at reducing mosquito-borne disease risk in the community. Her academic interests include entomology, vector ecology, and the role of insect populations in public health and ecosystem dynamics. Storm is particularly interested in mosquito taxonomy and behaviour. Through her studies and professional experience, she hopes to pursue a career focused on vector-borne disease research and sustainable mosquito control strategies.
