After earning a PhD in Medical Zoology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and a short post-doc at Navy Medical Research Center, I moved to California in 2017 to work as the vector ecologist at Northwest MVCD in Corona, CA and later promoted to Assistant DM/Vector Ecologist in 2020. In 2025, I accepted the position of Scientific-Technical Manager at Greater Los Angeles Co VCD.
