Outreach & Communications Coordinator
Puerto Rico Vector Control Unit, Puerto Rico, United States

Verónica Rodríguez serves as the Outreach & Communications Coordinator at the Puerto Rico Vector Control Unit (PRVCU), an initiative of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of community outreach and communication strategies focused on dengue prevention and other mosquito-borne diseases.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Digital Marketing. Her work includes designing educational materials, managing digital content, coordinating community engagement activities, and supporting key projects such as Si Screens, CERSE, and Dengue Response. Verónica is recognized for her ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, accessible, and culturally relevant messages, strengthening the bridge between science and communities across Puerto Rico.
