Michael is a public health professional working in Western Carolina University's Mosquito and Vector-borne Infectious Disease Laboratory and is dedicated to advancing community health in western NC, with a focus on vector-borne disease prevention and response. Fortunate to call WNC his home, Michael obtained his MPH in 2024 from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and works to strengthen the health of the WNC region through collaborative, community-driven initiatives.
