Dr. Aaron R. Ashbrook is an assistant professor of urban/peri-urban entomology at Louisiana State University. He has over 13 years of experience studying and managing bed bugs in a variety of settings. Dr. Ashbrook’s program focuses on understanding and improving different reduced-risk structural pest management strategies, including heat and fungal entomopathogens, for better pest control outcomes. When not in the office, lab, or on the road, Dr. Ashbrook enjoys hiking, fishing, and occasionally neglecting his indoor and outdoor plants.
