My name is Kyle Kosinski, I am the Director of Scientific Programs at Indian River Mosquito Control District in Vero, Beach Florida. I have worked in the industry for 3 years. My research background is in insecticide resistance testing and genetic screeing for single nucleotide polymorphisms in voltage-gated sodium channels in Aedes aegypti. I have volunteered and interned at several mosquito controls, developing and training staff on field collection of Aedes and Culex eggs, proper rearing of populations, and adult resisitance testing protocols and analysis.
