Mark J. Lavin, III, B.S. Cell and Molecular Biology

Mark Lavin earned his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Texas Tech University and is currently pursuing admission to medical school. His research spans a year and a half, focusing on mosquito field surveillance, molecular analyses involving DNA, and rearing Aexnic mosquitoes. Mark is also a licensed EMT-B in Texas where he gained experience in emergency medicine and patient care inspiring his passion for connecting scientific research with clinical practice.
