Matthew Hernandez is currently completing a Master of Science in Biology at California State University, Fresno. His research focuses on investigating the relationship between pyrethroid resistance and heat shock protein (HSP) expression in the invasive Aedes aegypti
mosquito population in Madera, CA. Following the completion of this project, Matthew plans to pursue a Ph.D. with a focus on invertebrate physiology.
