Abstract: The U.S. Department of Justice’s 2024 ADA rule requires mosquito control agencies, both county programs and special districts, to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards for websites, mobile apps, and digital outreach by 2026–2027. This presentation will highlight practical steps for compliance, focusing on accessible websites, effective use of color in maps and alerts, and social media practices with alt text and captions.
